Alan Madewell and Associates is seeking an Architect to join our studio of dedicated creative professionals designing highly detailed “one of a kind” homes.  

If you are a licensed Architect or professional on the path to licensure and the excitement of designing truly custom $4 million to $20 million homes resonates with you, we want to talk with you. We are looking for an energetic and passionate team player to join our group of designers, learn, contribute and grow into the role of Project Architect where you’ll manage all aspects of a given project from beginning to end.

Required

• Professional accredited degree in Architecture (M.Arch or B.Arch)
• Passion for Very High End and detailed home design
• Some experience with residential design preferred, and puts you on the top of our list
• Experience with drafting and putting together complete construction document sets
• Experience with code review and permitting preferred
• General knowledge of construction methods and materials
• AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop and Sketchup experience
• 4 years minimum previous architectural firm experience preferred
• Full time position, 9 to 6 on-site in our Tulsa, Oklahoma Studio

Job Description

• Work with the principal on the preliminary design to deliver sketches, renderings, and preliminary plans to the Client

• Translate preliminary plans and elevations into working drawings through design development
• Coordinate with consultants (structural engineers, landscape architects, Interior Designers, suppliers, manufacturing representatives, etc.) to cover all aspects of a project down to the smallest detail
• Manage project material selections and specifications
• Complete construction document sets that are clear and concise for permitting and pricing
• Work with contractors hands-on, at-site, to answer questions, provide additional details and get to see the design become a reality
• Detail cabinetry and trim throughout the home
• Organize the project documents and be the point of contact on the project
• Work hard but really enjoy what you’re doing with a team of people that are creative and passionate about their designs
