Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects within the Architecture department.
• Establish & maintain project design schedule.
• Manage all meetings with the client.
• Manage & participate in all project meetings during the construction phase.
• Review & monitor project design budgets.
• Review & manage milestone schedule with the Project Architect to confirm the schedule and commitments to the content of the documents.
• Collaborate on the resolution of design issues.
• Coordinate with Construction Project Managers.
• Communicate with A.H.J. as required during the permit review process.
• Oversee coordination with:
  • Civil engineers and landscape architects on site-related items
  • Outside architects that may be part of the client’s project team
  • Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, In-house structural and precast engineers
  • Interface with the client regarding any client-contracted consultants
• Assist the precast manufacturing department.
• Manage the assessments of design staff throughout the life of a project.
• Be a mentor for the less experienced staff.

Qualifications

• Five-year Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program is preferred.
• Registered Architects in Florida preferred, but not required
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Experience with the integration of structural & MEPFP systems
• Minimum of five years of experience managing and leading teams on either commercial or residential projects
• Must be able to communicate in both written and verbal formats of English at a professional business level.
• Residing in Central Florida or are willing to relocate if not
