The Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health is a dynamic workplace with a strong commitment to improving population health for over 100 years. We are seeking candidates for up to three positions in the Graduate Public Health Program who will contribute to the development and growth of the new Center for Climate Change and Health Equity (CCCHE). These are calendar year (12-month) positions, fully funded by New York State, that are tenure eligible. Those hired for these positions will also make contributions to the scholarship and service missions of the School of Public Health and Health Professions (SPHHP) and assist in the development and delivery of curriculum on climate change and population health.

We are seeking candidates with expertise in climate change and health research using environmental epidemiology, environmental risk/exposure assessment, climate modeling, and/or environmental justice/health disparity approaches.

Candidates at the Assistant Professor HS (tenure eligible) level will conduct independent research and support center-led transdisciplinary initiatives. We are interested in candidates from all backgrounds in climate and health, with particular interest in candidates who focus upon climate adaptation and resilience, One Health/Planetary Health, geospatial modeling and mapping, implementation science, global health, and climate policy.
