Landscape Technician
The position performs green space and hardscape maintenance to ensure a high quality of landscape care within an assigned area of the campus landscape.This is an essential position that will be called upon in the event of an emergency and/or university closure.Duties may include:Water, irrigate and install sprinklersPrune, weed and monitor grass, plants, shrubs and treesMow, edge, thatch and patch turfKeep landscape and hardscape areas clear of weeds, leaves, trash and other debrisMaintain trees up to 20 feet tallApply and maintain records related to chemical applications and fertilizersMaintain and repair landscaping tools and equipmentOperate a variety of tools and equipmentOther du
